Wardley House is situated in the beautiful Rutland countryside, just 2 miles to the west of Uppingham, bordering on Leicestershire. The large, private grounds of this Grade 2 listed building have outstanding views over the Eyebrook Valley with its unspoiled patchwork of woods and fields.
We have two self catering houses available for rent, both with luxury accommodation.The Pool House which sleeps up to 4 adults plus 2 children and the Cottage sleeps up to 6 adults. All bedrooms are double / twin with their own bathroom facilities (see list on the right).
All of our Rutland accommodation is within gated and fenced grounds. The privacy this offers is appreciated by everyone who stays. Our location provides excellent access to the surrounding countryside by car, on foot or on horseback.
The charming market and school town of Uppingham is 2 miles away. Historic Stamford is 12 miles. Rutland Water, the country's largest man made reservoir, is a 10 minute drive. It is one of the best facilities in England for sailing, fishing, bird watching, cycling and picnics.
